About

How I got here

I run weekly live-ops on my own games and build combat and progression systems that hold tens of thousands of players at once.

I shipped my first game, Anime Max Simulator, in 2023. I owned it and wrote all of its code, which is where I learned what releasing something actually costs.

In 2024 I programmed updates 9 to 13 on Anime Punch Simulator, a game that was already live with a large player base, then launched Anime Strike as owner, programmer and designer. I ran a full update every week plus a mid-week mini update through update 32. Months after the game paused I came back and built update 35 so it could take part in The Hatch, a Roblox event we were invited to.

Today I work on Anime Astral Simulator, which I joined at update 5 and have shipped every update on since. It has peaked at around 47K concurrent players. At that scale the job stops being about features and starts being about what survives replication, datastore limits and a server full of players hitting the same system at once.
